New flagship Accuphase C-57 phono preamplifier has arrived at MusicWorks and will be appearing in our authorised retailers very soon.
C-57 is a fully balanced stereo phono preamplifier design with ultra-low noise, featuring the new Advanced Noise and Distortion Cancellation Circuit (ANCC), offering dedicated MM/MC inputs, 7-position MC load impedance, and dual-mono construction for superior cartridge performance. It represents everything wonderful about its predecessor C-47, but improved.
Built in Accuphase’s signature chassis with elegant wood side panels, the internal layout is fully dual-mono, with independent left and right channel boards and an ultra-low noise power supply to keep the signal path as pure as possible.
The C-57’s configuration provides a fully balanced phono equaliser from input to output. The combination of a high precision equalizer amplifier and a dedicated MC/MM head amplifier fully optimised for the cartridge characteristics creates a highly accurate phono equaliser. As a first, the MC head amplifier uses ANCC to further improve noise performance. Dedicated MC phono balanced inputs allow for balanced connections with record players.
