We’re delighted to announce the arrival of E-800S, the new reference, Class A integrated amplifier from Accuphase. The successor to E-800, with improved performance and refined aesthetics, E-800S incorporates the full breadth of Accuphase’s accumulated knowledge on integrated amplifiers.
E-800S delivers 50W per channel into 8 ohms of full Class A power, with 12% better signal-to-noise ratio than its predecessor. The preamplifier section incorporates a Balanced AAVA type volume control, while the power amp stage relies on an instrumentation amplifier principle and six-fold parallel push-pull configuration, using power MOS-FETs driven in Class A, driving even the most demanding loudspeakers to higher dimensions of sound.
