New Accuphase integrated amplifier – E-3000 – has arrived in the UK, replacing previous models E-280 and E-380 as the new ‘entry level’ integrated, and significantly improving on the performance of both.
This gateway into the Accuphase family is a beautifully built unit, engineered using trickle-down technologies developed for Accuphase reference components. It is made entirely in-house in Yokohama, with the same reverence and attention to detail afforded to Accuphase flagship models, and which makes Accuphase so unique.
In E-3000, the vitally important volume control circuits incorporate the latest Accuphase Analogue Vari-gain Amplifier (AAVA) system, equipped with Accuphase Noise and Distortion Cancelling Circuit (ANCC). This patented circuit cancels out the minute noise generated by the semiconductor amplifier in the AAVA, achieving greatly improved noise reduction
The power amplifier section produces balanced signals relying on the instrumentation amplifier principle while simultaneously creating a robust output stage through three-fold parallel push-pull power transistors driven in Class AB.
